I'm glad that I did. UPS delivered this mount on the same day my new TV was getting delivered. With a little measuring, I had this installed in about an hour. It came with all of the hardware and fasteners that I needed. No missing pieces. No damage or scratches. It mounts to studs and it very strong. There are holes in the base plate to run wires through. They are in 2 different places so you can pick the location that fits your situation best. I was worried that this might be a 2-person job but I did everything by myself. I mounted a new 40" Samsung. It fits securely and will not fall off the wall by mistake. I have had to remove the TV 3 times due to adding components and running new wires through the wall. Loosening the security screws on the TV rails allow you to take the TV off of the wall, do your business and hang it back up again in no time. Tighten the security screws once again and you're... Not only is the bracket and arms of solid construction you get an amazing amount of bolts, washers, spacers that will accomodate any flat screen TV. It comes in a shiny strong box that's shipped in another snug fitting shipping box, so there's no chance of shipping damage. Seriously, I don't know how Warehouseseller can sell this high quality product for this price. As the instructions say, make sure you use a stud finder to find the vertical wall studs. You want the lags to hit the center of the stud. Another trick I've learned in locating the center of a stud (if you don't have a stud finder) is to knock on the wall. As you move down the wall you'll hear the sound go from a hollow knock to a harder one. This is where a stud is located. The TV is fantastic, but the sound quality is thin as is the case with almost all LCD TVs. When I found out the price of this Vizio soundbar and saw the reviews, I came to the conclusion that this is a no brainer. It produces surprisingly broad sound without a sub-woofer (a sub-woofer in a bedroom seems like overkill anyway). It fills the space wonderfully. A few pointers: The is an enclosed set of speakers with an amplifier. The soundbar does not provide any treble/bass/equalizer control over the sound. Thus, it simply broadcasts the sound based on the input source. Modern TV's tend to have very good audio controls for treble and bass. This is where you will control the breadth of the sound. The soundbar does however enable you to turn on or off SRS Surround. From trying it on and off, I found that 'on' sounds much better. I read one professional audio review of this sound bar that... Look on the lower right side and you'll notice an opening for the LED indicators, but they failed to create one in the framing to accommodate the IR receiver. A few snips with some sidecutters and you can solve the problem. My remote now works flawlessly from all angles at a considerable distance. I have no room or need for a subwoofer in this application and this sound bar was perfect, at the price I could not pass it up. The HD picture is just AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL. I did increase the "Sharpness" from 70 to about 90, but otherwise, left it on 'AUTO'. I thought the screen might be a little too big for my computer but I was totally wrong....it is just great! I do not have a HDMI connector for the PC, only the RGB, but it is still just outstanding. Hook-up was a matter of just connecting the plugs. The sound is better than good, but not great. (Below, you will see how I was able to improve it) I was going to give it 4 stars because the non-HD channels are just good, and acceptable; but, the more I look at it, I realize it is actually pretty good. I didn't need 120Hz so I saved $150 by buying the 60Hz model. The LG 450 has Expert ISF Settings so you can have it professionally calibrated or do it yourself, it has a built-in blue filter and calibration wizard. The ATSC tuner is very powerful because I get all the local stations OTA with an indoor antenna. This model is not internet enabled so you need a set top box to get Netflix, etc. As with all TV's the sound isn't great but it does have bass and treble controls. The USB port supports: JPG, MP3, MPG, MP4. The manual states other video formats are supported but they wouldn't work on my TV. I bought this TV on sale at Best Buy for 100 dollars off. I was in the market for a new TV, actually my first TV purchase. After a week of use, I am very very pleased with my purchase. The picture quality is fantastic. Every aspect of the picture can be customized- how warm the picture is, brightness, gamma exposure, etc. Let me say, out of the box the picture was great, this options are more for if you are very particular. The sound quality is adequate. Not the absolute best, but it is a very solid TV. My dad's bravia's sound quality is a lot worse so I am thankful that this setup is good. As far as features are concerned- it has all of the standards (sleep timer, auto-on/off, etc). It is missing picture-in-picture but this seems almost irrelevant for the size of the TV.
